I have been entering designs in the World of WearableArt Awards since 1995, with 27 finalist pieces in show over the years. Through creating art this way, I have learned amazing costuming skills and proved to myself (and my disbelieving design tutor back in the day) once and for all that I CAN think my way around a 3D space!
